YFC FILM

There will be a screening of work-in-progress on the video as well as a panel of about 4 YFC members at the Borderlines Film Festival on Saturday February 27th at 11am at the Courtyard in Hereford.

We will be showing the trailer as well as some new material and asking as-yet-to-be-named participants to appear on a panel to say something and to answer questions and take part in the discussion to accompany the screening. So that should be of interest to YFC members as well.

All the best, Anne Cottringer

An invitation to all charities & voluntary groups in Herefordshire

Bobbie is the person you need to speak to. She will listen to how you feel about Hereford, in a place that is familiar and friendly to you, and then she will feed back your comments and concerns to Hereford developers, and decision makers including Herefordshire Council. Bobbie will then report back from the decision makers to you. Bobbie is available to meet with your group at a time and a place to suit you –

just telephone 01432 860666 or email bobbie@thenc.co.uk. You can make a difference, you just need to be heard

YouthBank is more than just a way of giving out grants – it is about supporting and training young people to enable them, through grantmaking and related activity, to benefit other young people and the community, as well as themselves.

YouthBank builds on young people’s skills and experiences to enable them to reach their full potential and to play a full part in their own communities. YouthBank UK is open to all young people, however they recognise that some young people face different barriers to enable them to be involved.

They have supported the development of Thematic YouthBanks, aimed at specific groups of young people, for example young care leavers, homeless projects and young people that are based within the Midlands YMCA.
