The Royal Agricultural Show
3rd - 6th July 2008

NFYFC have introduced a new competition deposit system of £25.00 for each team entered into Efficiency with Safety, ATV Challenge, Fence Erecting, Cookery, Floral Arts, Tug of War and County Exhibit. Cheque deposits are due at NFYFC on various dates between 17th – 23rd June and if the deadline is not met the team will not be able to compete. Teams will receive their cheque on the day of the competition when booking in. NFYFC will not cash the cheque unless the team does not turn up.

Young People’s Fund, 2 Local Grants

The programme has two aims: To ensure that all organisations that provide services to young people involve them in developing, running and reviewing policies and services To help achieve the five Every Child Matters outcomes Up to £38 million is available to support projects across England where young people lead from start to finish. This programme will only consider projects that are youth-led. The programme is focussing on changing the lives of young people aged 10 – 18. They will also support projects working with young people up to the age of 25 if they are finding the change to independent living difficult. The Diana Award -

is for young people aged 12-18 who make a difference to the lives of their friends, families, schools and communities by volunteering, campaigning, fundraising, or as inspirational role models to others. Award holders are encouraged to continue with their work and are able to benefit from training and networking opportunities to help them realise their full potential.
