First Applications to HFYFC Training Fund Approved.

We're delighted to announce that the first applications to our training fund, supported by the Prince's Countryside Fund have been processed and the good news passed back to the successful applicants.

The first applicants saw members applying for car and trailer training (B+E) to extend the categories on their driving licences to help them carry out work on farms, shoots and shearing business as well farm office, organistation and adminsitration qualifications. Each of the successful applicants have been awarded up to £300 to subsidise the cost of their training, to help members improve their skill set and safety in rurally based careers.

The project has £30 000 to distribute to members over the next 2 1/2 years. If you think that the project might support your training make sure you visit our Hints & Tips page to find out more and download an application form.
